Not All Fermented Foods Have Live Probiotics

The real probiotic powerhouses are kefir, yogurt, dahi, buttermilk, kimchi, and sauerkraut. If you’re looking for gut-friendly microbes, stick to these options rather than vinegar-based or shelf-stable pickles.

Heat Kills Probiotics
