Albanian-English singer Dua Lipa turned 29 today. Since her debut album in 2017, the pop sensation has mastered not only stage performances but also has become the ambassador to her home country, served as co-chair at Met Gala, won numerous awards and what not. As she continues to levitate into the superstardom, here is how she manages to keep fit and healthy. In a recent conversation with Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett on the Dish From Waitrose podcast, the seven-time Brit Award winner shared insights into her rigorous training and diet regimen. When asked about her current routine, Dua said she's "one thousand per cent" in performance mode. Her days are packed with rehearsals, workouts, and vocal exercises. "It's like rehearsals, no drinking, working out—just back-to-back prepping for all the shows," she explained. The singer revealed that she even belts out her hits while rehearsing dance routines to perfect her performance. "I’ve got to make sure that while we’re doing new dance moves, a certain move isn’t gonna make my voice shake,” she noted, adjusting choreography when needed to maintain vocal strength. Her tour preparation doesn’t stop at training. Dua’s nutrition plan is equally strict. Meals are heavy on protein, with breakfasts often featuring eggs and fruit, while bread is off the menu. Lunches and dinners revolve around meat and vegetables, with steak being a staple. Her favorite post-cardio snack? A banana with cashew butter. However, Dua admits she still craves comfort foods like pasta. "It’s the little things,” she laughed. Despite these restrictions, she is a self-professed foodie who plans holidays around restaurant visits.
